Venue
The Ross School of Business is conveniently located on the University of Michigan's central campus near vibrant downtown Ann Arbor. All Congress activities, both keynote lectures and scientific sessions, will be held at the Ross School of Business.
With the opening of our new 270,000-square-foot building in January 2009, our facilities foster a 21st-century structure designed to help catalyze business education. It is a place built to nurture ideas that shape—and people who lead—complex, global organizations.
The heart of the new Ross building is the Davidson Winter Garden, a glass-enclosed public space that facilitates gatherings both big and small, as well as for serving lunches, coffee, and other refreshments.
ROSS ROOMS FOR PROGRAM SESSIONS
The 499-seat Blau Auditorium, with 299 seats on the main level and 200 in the balcony, elegantly accommodates both large and small audiences.

BUSINESS CENTER AT ROSS
Thirty laptops with access to a high-speed printer will be available for all Congress participants. Two types of wireless access will also be provided -- wireless "Lite" for checking e-mail and basic Web surfing on mobile devices, smart phones, etc. and wireless "Guest" for those wishing to log in from their laptops.

RossWirelessGuest is a password enforced, unencrypted wireless network intended as a short-term convenience for non-University, official guests of the Ross School such as Board Members, Recruiters and Executive Education participants. Access to this network requires a "Login" that is only distributed to departments who host guests. The "Login" is rotated on a regular basis to prevent broad use of this open network. Since this network is not encrypted, you must not send personal information such as credit card numbers over this network. If your guest needs to send secure, personal information, please use a wired, Ethernet connection found in all guest rooms, classrooms and interview rooms.
RossWirelessLite is a lower performance, unencrypted wireless network provided as a convenience for checking email and basic web surfing on mobile devices, smart phones, etc. You will notice slower downloads on this connection (speed is throttled to 128kbits/sec download; 96kbit/sec upload) and some network services will be blocked for security reasons (e.g. Remote Desktop, FTP and some non-standard web and video-streaming applications).
OCH FITNESS CENTER
The Ross School of Business building houses a fitness center furnished with free weights, strength machines, and aerobic machines, as well as areas for stretching. Lockers, showers, and towel service are available.
All Congress attendees may use this facility during their stay (August 8 - 11). Enroll in a pilates or yoga class, circuit training, or treat yourself to a therapeutic massage! Runners are welcome to join an early morning guided run through the campus.
In order to help us plan special Congress operating hours and have certified trainers available, please use the registration form to indicate level of interest and to sign up for organized fitness classes.
