Michael Prober, BBA '88|
PARTNER, CLOVIS CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

Prior to Co-founding Clovis in June, 2002, Mr. Prober was a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC (“CRM”) and served on the Strategic Planning Committee. In addition, from January 1, 1996 through May 31, 1997, Mr. Prober ran the short book for CRM’s hedge fund. Prior to joining CRM in 1993, he worked in corporate finance and commercial banking at Chase Manhattan Bank and as a research analyst for Alpha Capital Venture Partners. Mr. Prober earned a BBA from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration and an MM from Northwestern University, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Ari Spar, BBA '89
MANAGING DIRECTOR, SAKS-SPAR FINANCIAL GROUP

Ari Spar has been in the financial services industry for 25 years. As Managing Director, Ari advises ultra-high net worth individuals. He focuses on providing customized investment strategies in fixed income and financial advice in the areas of wealth preservation and charitable giving. Ari joined Stifel in 2015, via the acquisition of the Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Americas. Prior to Barclays, Ari was with Lehman Brothers for 17 years.

Ari holds a BA from the University of Michigan, which he received in 1989. He remains active philanthropically with the University of Michigan and can be found on many Fall Saturdays in Ann Arbor cheering on the Wolverines football team. Ari lives in Westchester County, New York with his wife, their five children, three dogs and a cat.
