The Alumni Engagement Office is happy to host In-Person Alumni in Residence sessions with members of the Ross Alumni Board of Governors on Thursday, September 22nd.

Submit your request below to meet one-on-one remotely with our Alumni in Residence and ABOG member, Chekesha Kidd to learn more about a career or industry, practice your networking and interview skills, learn how they manage teams and how they have gotten to where they are today.

Tamika Curry Smith is President of The TCS Group, Inc., a firm that provides human resources and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) solutions to a broad range of clients. She was most recently Vice President of Global Diversity & Inclusion at Nike, Inc., where she was responsible for leading a global D&I team across the Nike, Jordan, and Converse brands. Prior to Nike, Tamika was Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Mercedes-Benz USA and Director of Diversity at Target Corporation. 

Tamika started her career with Deloitte & Touche in auditing, then joined Deloitte Consulting, where she held various management consulting roles and was the Director of Diversity Programs. Ms. Curry Smith earned a BBA in Accounting with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She also obtained an MBA in Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management.

Tamika has shared her expertise as a speaker and facilitator for many organizations and has been featured in numerous publications, including Black Enterprise, the New York Times Magazine, DiversityInc, and Diversity Professional Magazine. Tamika has received various awards, among them the Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business, Diversity MBA's Top 100 Under 50 Executive Leaders, The 50 Most Influential Diversity Stars, and the Chairman’s Award from the National Black MBA Association. Ms. Curry Smith is an Aspen Institute Leadership Program alumna, a YWCA racial justice facilitator, and a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association. She currently serves on the Alumni Board of Governors and the Dean’s Council for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and the Kellogg School of Management Inclusion Coalition.
