The Global Health Supply Chain Summit (GHSCS) Group, in partnership with Chemonics International, is proud to launch its inaugural Global Health Supply Chain Research Challenge. Through this challenge, we plan to provide small seed research grants of up to $10,000 to the authors of the top research submission(s). We are seeking research proposals that:

• Evaluate and analyze the root cause of challenges in global health supply chains and pharmaceutical management in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)
• Study the effectiveness and efficiency of existing health supply chains and pharmaceutical management programs in LMICs
• Provide recommendations to build resilient and self-reliant health supply chains in LMICs
• Study approaches to pooling resources for procurement and / or manufacturing of health commodities and coordination and co-operation models to facilitate such pooling
• Study different supply chain structures to deliver vaccines from a manufacturer to the arms of the people. Such studies may include location and nature of vaccination centers, incentives to get vaccinations, etc.  This may include location of vaccination and incentives to vaccinate

In addition, through this challenge, we hope to:

• Encourage LMICs health and supply chains professionals to study, design and implement new practices and approaches that can improve health supply chains and pharmaceutical management
• Assist in fostering high-quality researchers who can study and develop first-class practical solutions to health supply chains and pharmaceutical management challenges
• Encourage research cooperation between health supply chains and pharmaceutical management professionals in different countries and organizations, as possible

Disseminate research reports and research outcomes to different countries and organizations, maximizing the impact of research
