The labor and econometrics seminars at the University of Michigan, in collaboration with Michigan Ross, are organizing a one-day applied econometrics workshop on current issues in difference-in-difference and two-way fixed effect research designs. The goal of the workshop is to help crystallize the core issues for applied researchers, define the set of recent advances, generate an engaging discussion of how the different solutions work (or don’t work) for different kinds of applied problems, and spark ideas for which open questions have the most potential for future work.

The workshop will be in a hybrid format. In-person attendance is capped and limited to University of Michigan students/faculty. RSVPs are mandatory.

To attend either online or in person, please register here. You will be given the option to attend in person or virtually. If the first-come, first-served cap has been reached, you will be moved to a wait list. Zoom information will be provided to registered attendees prior to the event.
