The Michigan China Forum is founded this year by three largest Chinese student organizations at the University of Michigan with the mission of empowering future leaders from the U.S., China, and beyond to lead in a global economy. The Forum will present unprecedented conversations between a diverse group of top executives from the two nations, covering issues about future U.S.-China political and trading relationship, opportunities and challenges in manufacturing, disruptive mobility, cross-country entrepreneurship, etc. It will serve as a unique platform for the younger generation from all nations to gain expert insights, exchange different ideas, and expand their network.

The speakers includes:

       HONG Lei, Consul General of China in Chicago (keynote speaker)

       Brian Connors, Director of the Michigan-China Innovation Center

       Jun Ni, Deputy Chair at World Economic Forum Advanced Manufacturing Committee; Director at S.M. Wu Manufacturing Research Center at University of Michigan

       Gene Ma, Chief China Economist at Institute of International Finance

       Veronica Wu, Co-president at China Science and Merchants Capital Investment Group; Former Vice President at Tesla China
