Guest Speaker Bios:

Michael Dergis as Partner, Sigred Group, he is a management recruiter and trusted advisor who enjoys connecting people. A 1999 Ross MBA grad, his career has covered industry, strategy consulting and recruiting with a focus on working with clients to develop creative solutions for their talent-related problems. Most recently, he has been supporting clients with employee attraction and engagement, as well as organizational development issues. Mike and the Sigred Group improve the lives of their clients and candidates by connecting great employers with amazing talent.

 

Donna Humphrey-DeLosh is the Senior Associate Director, EMBA Career Advancement for the Ann Arbor Ross School of Business, at the University of Michigan. She provides individualized one-on-one coaching, and designs and delivers career management workshops for Executive MBA students and alumni to ensure they achieve both short and long term career objectives. Prior to joining Ross, she spent 18 years working for Right Management as a Vice President/Career Consultant providing Career and Talent Management coaching for executives and professionals from a wide array of industries.  She has extensive experience in leadership assessment, executive coaching, and career management strategies. Donna graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a Limited License Psychologist in the State of Michigan, where she was in private practice for many years.

 

David Turner is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, having joined MotorCity Casino Hotel (MCCH) in 2019 after accumulating over two and half decades of multi-level, multi-industry, union & non-union, and exempt & non-exempt workforce experience. As part of the MCCH Executive Team, David strategically partners with the leadership community, offering comprehensive, innovative, and results-oriented services modeled on the very best human resources practices, and ensures a diverse and inclusive workforce. As an advocate for education, community service, and civic volunteerism. David graduated with a Ph.D. in (Human Capital Management) and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in (Human Resources). A 2022 Distinguished Alumni Honoree from Eastern Michigan University, named 2022 Michigan’s Top HR Professional from MI-SHRM (Michigan Council of SHRM),a 2019 Michigan Chronicle - Men of Excellence Honoree and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
