Database Access
Who Can Access Kresge Databases?
Current Ross Students, Faculty, and Staff
If you are a current Ross School of Business student, faculty or staff member, most of our databases are available for you to access from your home, office, or from any Internet connection. To use these databases outside the Business School, you will be asked to authenticate with your iMpact username and password.
Ross Alumni
If you are a former Ross student, you have access to some Ross resources. You will be asked to authenticate with your iMpact login information. If you do not have an iMpact login, or do not remember your username or password, view the alumni community's instructions on setting up iMpact access, particulary the Login FAQ's on this page.
Non-Ross Affiliates
If you are a University of Michigan faculty, student or staff member not affiliated with the Ross School of Business, you can still use many of our resources remotely.

Database Use
Use of information in these resources is governed by the Ross Community Values and Academic Honor Code, as well as individual database vendor agreements as noted below. Kresge Library contracts with vendors to allow faculty, students, and staff to use these subscription databases for educational, personal and non-commercial purposes. As part of the agreement, both copyright and contract law apply.
According to the "fair use" clauses of U.S. copyright law, you may cite short excerpts in papers and reports for classroom and other academic uses if you also cite the source of the information (e.g. journal article). You may not use entire works for this purpose. When using information from these databases, properly cite and credit the source. If you have any questions about citing a particular resource, please contact us.
