Mark Daskin, Clyde W. Johnson Collegiate Professor, Industrial & Operations Engineering IOE

Professor Daskin received his BS from MIT, certificate of post-graduate study in engineering from Cambridge University, and his Ph.D. from MIT. His research focuses on the application of operations research techniques to problems in transportation, supply chain management and facility location modeling, and healthcare. READ MORE >

Scott DeRue, Edward J. Frey Dean of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan

DeRue joined Michigan Ross in 2007, taking on multiple leadership roles across the school over time. Prior to his deanship, DeRue served as the associate dean for Executive Education, professor of management, director of the Sanger Leadership Center, and faculty director of the Emerging Leaders Program. Joel D. Tauber

Joel D. Tauber grew up in Detroit, MI and received his B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Michigan. He was then invited to take over a manufacturing business, where realization set in: “I had to develop my own training program, because what I learned at business school didn't prepare me to understand the whole organization. I worked with people in various parts of the organization - on the business side and on the manufacturing side - and I came to realize that a comprehensive approach was a crucial and much more effective way of preparing for this kind of business."
