On June 1 - 2, 2018, University of Michigan will host the 8th annual Interdisciplinary Symposium on Decision Neuroscience (ISDN) in Ann Arbor, MI.

This Symposium is unique in that it brings together a range of constituencies involved in the use of neuroscience techniques to understand decision making: world-renowned academics, neuroscience research companies, marketing research executives, and industry leaders. On June 1-2, the Symposium offers an opportunity for interested individuals to mingle and present/view the latest breakthroughs on the use of neuroscientific and physiological measures to inform decision making in individuals, groups, societies, organizations, and markets. Please note that Sunday, June 3 will feature a half-day neuroscience training workshop.

The goals of the event include:

  • Creating an annual forum for exchange of research ideas
  • Facilitating inter-disciplinary collaborations and fostering the advancement of decision neuroscience
  • Creating opportunities for graduate students and junior faculty to interact with leading researchers in decision neuroscience and marketing research executives/ industry leaders from neuromarketing firms
