With over 50 million professionals in 150 industries, LinkedIn is an essential tool for efficiently researching and connecting with people at companies and organizations that interest you. Connections discovered through LinkedIn help many networking calls become warm calls. This session is particularly critical for students conducting an off-campus job or internship search. In this workshop you will learn LinkedIn basics, including how to build a strong profile, how to search for contacts and conduct quick company research, and etiquette that will help increase your effectiveness reaching out to potential contacts.
