Different cultures use words differently to communicate a certain meaning or intent. For example, some cultures use a very direct form of communication while other cultures are more indirect. This class introduces the concept of coding in communication. Students will be able to have awareness of coding when communicating across cultural communication norms. The course will also explore the use of Email in communication including the capabilities and limitations of communicating via email.
This workshop is part of the Strat 425 course; however, you do not have to be a registrant of the class to attend this workshop and receive the career information.
