Clarence B. Jones was an adviser, lawyer, and speech writer for Martin Luther King Jr., as well as the first African American partner in a Wall Street investment
banking firm. He is a visiting Professor at the University of San Francisco and Stanford University where he is a Scholar Writer in Residence. Jones is the author of What Would Martin Say? and Behind the Dream: The Making of the Speech that Transformed a Nation.
