What is a Uniqname?
Uniqname is pronounced "unique name". It is your personal identifier that you will use to log into
many UM online
services. It is also part of your email address, which uses the format
uniqname@umich.edu.
What accounts do I have at Ross?
At Ross, you have two separate computing accounts:
Kerberos and
Active Directory. Both have the same username, your UM uniqname. They have separate passwords. Each account is used for a specific set of services. Making your
Active Directory password the same as your
Kerberos password is highly suggested.
