Reuben Slone

Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management

Walgreen Co.

Reuben Slone is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Walgreen Co., based in Deerfield, Illinois.

In this position, Slone is responsible for inventory management and replenishment, imports, strategic sourcing, transportation, distribution center operations and logistics for the company.

Slone previously worked at OfficeMax, where he served as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and General Manager of Services. In his eight years with OfficeMax, he was responsible for inventory management, transportation and warehousing, strategic sourcing, real estate, store development, facilities, print and copy, B2B technology, managed print services, and break room and facilities maintenance products businesses. In addition, Slone managed front-end inventory at OfficeMax and oversaw supplier development. Prior to joining OfficeMax, Slone held various executive positions with Whirlpool, General Motors, Federal-Mogul, EDS and Ernst & Young.

Slone has authored two articles published by Harvard Business Review: “Leading a Supply Chain Turnaround” in October 2004 and “Are You the Weakest Link in your Supply Chain?” in September 2007.  In May 2010, Harvard Business Press published Slone’s first book: “The New Supply Chain Agenda.” 

Slone also serves as chairman of the board of directors of Aspire of Illinois, a non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities.

He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1984.

Sanjay Jalona

Executive Vice President, Global Head, High-Tech & Manufacturing and Engineering Services 


Sanjay Jalona is Head of one of the largest and the fastest growing segments of Infosys, the Manufacturing and Engineering Services business. The Manufacturing segment has grown to $1.8 Billion and accounts for 23 percent of Infosys revenues.

An industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience, Sanjay is a recognized leader and a strategic advisor to senior executives from Global 2000 corporations on global sourcing and business transformation strategies. Sanjay has built a successful career out of strengthening and accelerating business practices. He has groomed successful business leaders and won some of the largest company-wide engagements for Infosys.

Sanjay is the Chairperson of the Board of Infosys China, a wholly owned Infosys subsidiary focused on the China market. He is also a member of the task force of Manufacturing for Growth – a World Economic Forum initiative, and a visiting delegate to WEF at Davos. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan and is an acknowledged thought leader. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and is quoted frequently in business media.

Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani, India.

Pavan Pattada

Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management 

Eaton Corporation

Pavan Pattada is senior vice president - supply chain management, for Eaton, a power management company. He leads global policy and functional alignment for supply chain management worldwide for Eaton. Pattada joined Eaton in 2002 as director for global sourcing for corporate supply chain management.

From 2005 to 2009 he led the establishment of Eaton's truck business in India as the General Manager of that business and in 2009 became director of operations for Eaton's North American truck business. 

Most recently, Pattada was vice president of business development for the industrial sector. Prior to working at Eaton, he was a manager at the manufacturing operations and strategy practice of Deloitte Consulting and was the chief officer, ship operations with Dole Fresh Fruit, Inc. in Costa Rica. 

He is a master mariner from L.B.S. College of Advance Maritime Studies in Mumbai, India, and has an MBA, strategy and operations, from Duke University in North Carolina.
