Leading in Trying Times

Researchers associated with the Center for Positive Organizational Scholarship at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan offer the essays found on this page to those interested in making a positive difference within their workplace or community in the wake of trauma and crisis. The web page was originally created in response to the attacks on New York City in September, 2001. However, many of the lessons for leadership are applicable and useful today.

These essays are meant to provide new insights, clarify thoughts, and foster plans of action for leaders, employees, and contributors at all levels.
