A state-of-the-art instructional lab facility, classrooms with a networked,
projected computer with Internet access, a mobile computing infrastructure for
student laptops, and a multimedia video editing lab facilitate teaching and
learning through technology.
The e-classroom in the Tozzi Electronic
Business and Financial Center (Room E1405) seats up to 70 students for hands-on classes in a wireless laptop environment.
Modular furniture is easily arranged for
different teaching purposes.

Behavioral Lab The
Behavioral Lab is used by faculty and PhD students to conduct
studies on human behavior. It has three rooms: one large office
and two small break-out rooms. All are equipped with a mobile
video camera with zoom capability and can record and store data
in VHS or DVD formats. The large room has a projector and
screen. Additional equipment includes 15 laptop computers which
may be used in the lab. From filling out surveys to working in
interdependent groups, a wide variety of studies may be
conducted in the lab.
Group study rooms There are Group Study
rooms available for students. Rooms are equipped with an
Ethernet network connection for laptops, in addition to
Plasma monitors allow students to review and practice
presentations. Students can
reserve Group Study rooms on-line (iMpact login required)
for periods of 3 hours up to two weeks in advance.
TeamSpot Rooms TeamSpot is a new collaborative
technology from Tidebreak allowing team members to instantly
work together on documents by actually linking their computers.

Virtual Lab Our
of forty-eight simultaneous connections allow lab software to
run on personal laptops and home computers by remote access over
the Internet. This eliminates the need to be on an actual
Business School computer to complete necessary assignments with
Multimedia lab The school offers a small lab
with digital video editing workstations. This lab is
located on the 4th floor of the Kresge Building, within the
Multimedia Lab page for
on-line reservations and skill training!
Computing Center Student computing labs are
available on the lower level of the Electronic Data Resources
building. The labs are most heavily used by BBAs who do
not have laptops.

These labs offer a total of approximately 140 Pentium IV
computers running Windows XP to supplement laptop use and
software used in courses.
Kresge Library has 42 computers conveniently located on the 2nd
floor and 10 computers located on the 4th floor. The 4th floor
also offers Ethernet and power connections for laptops, as well
as wireless coverage.
Students with laptops can take advantage of the
distributed computing infrastructure throughout the Business School:
wireless network for laptop internet access throughout the School.
Wireless cards are available for loan through the Kresge Library Reserve Desk,
but most students opt for the convenience of purchasing their own wireless
Ethernet connections are available in all major classrooms. Students will need to provide their own laptop (see our

as their own Ethernet card and cable.
