Forums to Focus on Tax and Healthcare Policy
Ross Professor Joel Slemrod previews policy discussions on issues critical to the presidential election.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Ross Office of Tax Policy Research will hold two upcoming Ross Thought in Action forums that will dive into issues important to this year's presidential race.
In this video, Professor Joel Slemrod previews both forums. The first will be Sept. 18 and will focus on taxes. The second will be Oct. 2 and will delve into healthcare reform. Both events will take place at 4 p.m. in Blau Auditorium. They are free and open to the public. The forums will be led by academics and journalists with different viewpoints on the topics.
Slemrod is the Paul W. McCracken Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy and Chair of the Department of Economics.
