Ross is Seeking Alumni-Sponsored MAP Student Projects for 2019

  • Overview:

  • Ross’ Multidisciplinary Action Projects (MAP) program continues to set the gold standard for experience-driven education. MAP takes place around the world and each year approximately 200 student teams across degree programs work with partner organizations on real-world business challenges.

  • Half of these student teams are privileged to work on MAP projects sponsored by Ross alumni. It is clear from student evaluations that alumni provide transformational learning experiences and we would welcome the opportunity to work with you and your organization.

  • Sponsoring a MAP team has several benefits:

    • Bright Minds = Big Results: Gain fresh perspectives on your business issue and receive thorough, data-driven recommendations from a team of four to six Michigan Ross students

    • Experienced guidance: Ross’ world-class faculty will advise your MAP team throughout the project period.

    • Great value: Sponsors pay only for students’ project-related expenses, such as travel, lodging, meals, and basic living costs. Our travel policy is structured to keep costs at a minimum.

  • Program Options for Winter 2019:

    • Capstone MAP: Undergraduate and Masters of Management - January-April 2019 (12 weeks) - 40 projets total

    • Weekend MBA MAP - January-April 2019 (12 weeks) - 25 projets total

    • Full-Time MBA MAP - March-April 2019  (7 weeks) - 85 projects total

  • For More Information:

    • You can visit the MAP website for more information. You can also connect directly with the Office of Action-Based Learning at RossActionLearning@umich.edu or 734-615-2096 to discuss project ideas and learn how to submit a proposal.  BBA projects are due by the end of September. Weekend and Full-time MBA project proposals are due in early November!
