Warmilu Co-Founder & CEO Grace Hsia (MsE '13) will speak to the Michigan Ross Alumni Club of Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan about leadership, strategic thinking and time management.

Warmilu LLC is a women- and minority-owned startup. Because an incubator’s warmth saved her when she was born preterm, Grace applied her materials science engineering expertise to making warmth accessible to reduce over one million infant deaths from preventable hypothermia.

Prior to Warmilu, Grace served as senior project manager at the First Customer Program at the University of Michigan Economic Growth Institute. There, she managed $1.6 million in program funding and 200+ advanced technology startups. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan's College of Engineering (2012). Additionally, she received my Master of Entrepreneurship from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and College of Engineering at the University of Michigan.

Grace received recognition in the US Manufacturing Institute Emerging Leader (2016 STEP Ahead Award), Forbes 30 Under 30 2016: Manufacturing and Industry as an Honoree, Procter and Gamble, the 2018 Crain’s Detroit Notable Women in Manufacturing 2018, WeWork Creator Awards Global Finalist, and the 2018 Crain’s Detroit Twenty in their 20s 2018. She had the honor of presenting Warmilu to the United Nations and UNICEF.
