The Michigan Ross Alumni Club of Ann Arbor & Southeast Michigan is invited to attend an event hosted by the Penn & Wharton Alumni Club of Michigan.

Guest presenter Proffesor John Paul MacDuffie, Director of the Program on Vehicle and Mobility Innovation at Wharton’s Mack Institute for Innovation Management, will share insights on the dynamics of technology and automotive partnerships and what these collaborations mean for the future of mobility for people and things as well as auto industry competitiveness. Breakout session to facilitate cross-sector discussion are planned as part of this event.

About John Paul MacDuffie: John Paul MacDuffie is Professor of Management at the Wharton School and Director of the Program on Vehicle and Mobility Innovation (PVMI) at Wharton’s Mack Institute for Innovation Management. PVMI carries on the work of the International Motor Vehicle Program (IMVP), the research network founded at M.I.T. to study the challenges facing the global automotive industry. His global research on the determinants of high-performance manufacturing is featured centrally in the books The Machine That Changed the World and After Lean Production: Evolving Employment Practices in the World Auto Industry. He is a founding board member of the Industry Studies Association and a member of the Automotive Experts Group at the Federal Reserve Bank.
