In celebration of World Book Day and in the spirit of connection and community, Cecil Shepherd, Michigan Ross Alumni Club of New York President, sits down with alumni authors who will share about their Michigan Ross/U-M journey as well as insights on how their ideas and writing evolved throughout their journey.

Session Information and Bio:

Dikran “Deekron” Krikorian is the bestselling author of the book, The Nine Shifts: The Mind-First Method To Transform Your Body and Your Life.

Deekron is zealous about personal growth and living true to one’s passions. Always believing in “walking the talk,” he left behind a prestigious corporate career as a strategy consultant to fulfill his mission of empowering people to achieve their best self. 

He is a Holistic High Performance Coach and founder of The InPowerment Company, a coaching, training & development firm that unlocks people's ability to permanently thrive in the areas of health, wealth, and relationships.

Deekron earned an MBA from the Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan. He holds certifications in functional nutrition and metabolism from The Metabolism School (by Sam Miller Science) and Pain-Free Performance (PPSC by Dr. John Ruskin). He’s done deep, immersive transformation work, training live with experts such as Tony Robbins, Les Brown, and Bob Proctor. He’s also worked directly with elite mindset and body transformation coaches.

He competed in a natural bodybuilding competition at the age of 50 (placing second) and ran the New York City Marathon in 2011 a day before his 40th birthday. His favorite sport is skiing; he was a part-time ski instructor and ski racer (earning silver in a coalition cup as a teenager).

He was born in Romania (to an Armenian dad and Romanian mom) grew up in Queens (the most ethnically diverse neighborhood on the planet) and currently lives in Miami, his happy place.
