More About Our Guest Panelists:
Yelena Aganesova: Associate Director of Career Advancement for Ross Executive MBA students and alumni, a role she assumed in August 2024. Previously, she spent 15 years coaching various student groups at Ross and the College of Engineering. She also managed the CoE Career Center’s Corporate Partner Program. Yelena also brings over seven years of corporate experience in tourism and retail management. In addition to her role at Michigan Ross, Yelena runs a private coaching business focused on career and executive coaching. Currently, she is midway through Co-Active Executive Coaching certification. Yelena holds a bachelor’s degree in social geography and economics from Moscow State University and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Amy Cell: President of Yeo & Yeo HR Advisory Solutions, where she helps organizations solve complex talent challenges. She founded Amy Cell Talent in 2015 and led it for a decade before its acquisition in 2025. Her career includes talent and HR roles at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Ann Arbor SPARK, Ford, and SRI, as well as early experience as a CPA at Plante & Moran. Amy holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Michigan, where she also teaches.
Hatu Kanu: Hatu is an experienced talent acquisition professional and career coach. With a focus on tech talent, he has worked with and consulted for companies spanning the gaming, financial services, health tech, and startup industries. Hatu is passionate about the democratization of economic opportunity and started Power Pivots career coaching and podcast to further impact jobseekers. In his free time he enjoys meditating, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. He is a proud graduate of University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
Sara Perelli-Minetti: Michigan Ross MBA '13, founded Hellos & Goodbyes to help people negotiate stronger job offers, raises, and severance packages. Her own experiences with severance and job offers combined with years in Corporate HR make her incredibly passionate about helping people get what they're worth. Prior to starting Hellos & Goodbyes, Sara held a variety of roles at companies like Capital One and Wayfair and spent a year as Head of People at a venture-backed startup. She's also trained as a Co-Active coach. Sara lives in Reston, VA with her family.
