This holiday season, the Michigan Ross Alumni Club of Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan would like to serve those in need in our community. Two weeks before Thanksgiving, our club will volunteer at Forgotten Harvest and serve our community. We will help pack emergency food boxes, re-pack or sort fresh nutritious food that will be distributed through Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County. Our help helps Forgotten Harvest keep their costs down and spend their more of their available funds on distributing the food throughout Metro Detroit.
If you are interested in joining us, please pre-register below. All volunteers will receive a link to complete a volunteer profile and sign a liability waiver electronically.
Besides packing food boxes, re-pack or sort fresh nutritious food, our volunteers may be asked to:
General cleaning and warehouse needs
Sweep warehouse floor and mop corners
Dust off the top of food boxes/pallets
Separate and bag food into gaylords
Put cardboard in the baler
