The Creative Power of Constructive Conflict: Making Innovation Happen in the Post COVID 19 World

OK, we all did the C19 Shuffle. Now what? The new world of work? Done that. Digital and different? Please! The days of planning, processes, and penalties are over. One size never really fit all anyway. Boundaries are spanned. Strategies are fluid. Talent is everything.

So how do we make innovation happen now? Engage the creative power of constructive conflict.

In this talk, Ross School of Business Clinical Professor Jeff DeGraff will explore how innovation in the post C19 world brings radical shifts in organizational cultures and competencies. He will introduce a shared innovation mindset and language. Finally, he will demonstrate how these positive tensions can be harnessed productively to create breakthrough solutions, and suggest how Wolverine leaders can take purposeful action to grow their businesses and organizations. Go Blue!

Jeff's life mission is to democratize innovation. He is co-author of several books including Creativity at Work, Leading Innovation, and The Innovation Code.  His latest book, The Creative Mindset, brings tools and techniques to everyone. He founded a leading innovation institute, Innovatrium, with centers in Ann Arbor and Atlanta. Before joining Ross, Jeff was a VP at Domino’s when it was one of the fastest growing companies in America.
