The options for waiving Accounting 502: Principles of Financial Accounting are as follows: 

• Qualify through previous coursework or designation (e.g. undergraduate coursework or CPA).
• Complete and pass the Online Accounting Waiver Course and exam. There is a $475 fee for this option.

Online Accounting Waiver Course

• Ross offers an Online Accounting Waiver Course designed for students who are interested in waiving ACC 502 but do not have the requisite formal educational/experience requirements. There is a $475 fee for this course.
• The online waiver course consists of 7 modules. You must complete the modules by July 15th. After you have completed the modules, faculty will review your efforts and decide if you have enough mastery of the material to officially waive ACC 502.
• Starting May 29th, within 1 business day after you register, you will be added to the online platform to begin working on the modules at your own pace. You can find a syllabus for the course here (coming soon). 

Registration opens May 2nd.  You must register by June 17th to be considered for the program. Refunds cannot be processed after June 17th. If you are planning on participating in the Fast Track in Finance program, you are required to waive ACC 502. You can register separately for Fast Track in Finance here.
