The Mitsui Life Financial Research Center is hosting the 36th Mitsui Finance Symposium: New Frontiers in Asset Pricing, to be held June 6 - 8, 2024, at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW: The symposium intends to focus on state-of-the-art research in asset pricing that advances the discipline through methodological innovation and expansion to new and significant areas and questions. Of particular interest are studies advancing new computational methodologies, including machine learning and big data applications, and those that explore expanding topics in asset pricing, such as investor heterogeneity, learning and ambiguity, the real effects of financial markets, the impact of climate risk, sustainability, and diversity on financial markets, and novel preference structures for pricing models.

FULL PARTICIPATION: As we highly value active audience participation, all participants are encouraged to stay during the entire conference. This has been the standard at past Mitsui symposiums and is encouraged again this year. The symposium begins with a reception on Thursday evening, June 6, and ends with lunch on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
