Unsolicited Emails to me from Participants after the Conference
I learned things I had no idea of. I will now be the best informed and most educated person in the field. No one in the field knows any of the things that were discussed here and they are all so fascinating.

Absolutely wonderful conference and very
interesting summary email. I learned a lot. Interestingly over the years
I too have done 'sensory marketing' research but without labeling it as
such. I've done work on smell, taste, color and music - no haptics yet
but there's always a next time. In any event I would love to be included
in the next conference! Thanks again for doing such a superb job.

Aradhna. Thanks for arranging an excellent conference. Count me in for Grenoble.
I would love to come to the one in Grenoble as I enjoyed this one a lot. More importantly, I am working on two projects on visual perception at the moment and will perhaps run with the smell idea I threw out at the conference as well. So, I might have stuff to talk about two years from now!
Thanks again and take care
Thank you so much for a wonderful conference. You did so much to make our experience positive; I hope you know how much we appreciated your efforts. It was an enjoyable and stimulating weekend and I was delighted to be a part of it.
Thanks for inviting me.
Thanks Aradhna. Best conference I have been to in
Congratulations on a very successful conference! Thanks very much for letting me attend; I was only able to make it to the first and last group of sessions, but all the presentations I attended were terrific. Your conference has inspired me to think more broadly about my own research program.
I'd love to attend the next one; Ben will be 3 by then, so I should even be able to attend all the sessions.
This seminar was one of the most fascinating I ever attended. Thanks for putting it together.
YES! I'd love to participate in the next one. Maybe for actively than as a discussant. As you may know I (co)authored a number of papers on several topics relevant to Sensory Marketing: effects of music, scents, color and phonetic traits on emotion, cognition, credibility, well being and behavior (my CV is attached).
Again my sincerest thanks for your invitation and your successful efforts.
Thank you for organizing this conference and permitting me to attend; it was an incredible experience. I applaud you for your foresight, initiative, energy, and commitment to establishing sensory marketing as a recognized subfield. If possible, I would like very much to attend the next sensory marketing conference in 2010.
Aradhna – just a quick note to say THANKS for a
great conference. I thought the meet was very good and I came out of the
sessions with a lot of great information and some good research ideas.
You deserve some real kudos for putting on such a great conference.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your email. I've been traveling nearly all of July and the emails just keep piling up. But before any more time passes, I wanted to tell you what a fabulous job you did organizing and running the Sensory Marketing Conference. I have to say that out of all the conferences I've ever been to, I think this one was the most interesting AND beneficial in terms of moving my research program forward. I got a lot of new ideas for projects of my own and was genuinely inspired by the research people are working on in the sensory domain. Thank you so much for making it all happen - you truly had a vision for a great conference that will have a lasting impact on the field. I would absolutely love to be included in the next conference in 2010! I look forward to it!!!
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
