Unsolicited Emails to me from Participants after the Conference


I learned things I had no idea of.  I will now be the best informed and most educated person in the field.  No one in the field knows any of the things that were discussed here and they are all so fascinating.

Absolutely wonderful conference and very interesting summary email. I learned a lot. Interestingly over the years I too have done 'sensory marketing' research but without labeling it as such. I've done work on smell, taste, color and music - no haptics yet but there's always a next time. I would love to come to the one in Grenoble as I enjoyed this one a lot.  More importantly, I am working on two projects on visual perception at the moment and will perhaps run with the smell idea I threw out at the conference as well.  So, I might have stuff to talk about two years from now!

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your email. I've been traveling nearly all of July and the emails just keep piling up. But before any more time passes, I wanted to tell you what a fabulous job you did organizing and running the Sensory Marketing Conference. I have to say that out of all the conferences I've ever been to, I think this one was the most interesting AND beneficial in terms of moving my research program forward. I got a lot of new ideas for projects of my own and was genuinely inspired by the research people are working on in the sensory domain. Thank you so much for making it all happen - you truly had a vision for a great conference that will have a lasting impact on the field. I would absolutely love to be included in the next conference in 2010! I look forward to it!!!
