Information Collected and Stored Automatically
We gather information about use of the Kresge Library Catalog so we can better meet your needs
and troubleshoot problems. This information does not identify you personally. We collect the following data:
- The IP address from which you access the catalog
- The date and time you access the catalog
The session logs that contain these data are retained for 10 calendar days, then discarded.
Personally-identifiable Information
Kresge Library purges circulation data from the catalog on items requested or checked out as soon as they're returned.
However information saved in My Account Information is retained.
Access to this information is restricted to Kresge staff who need to use it in the normal course of
Kresge business. This information is never used for commercial or marketing purposes and will never be
revealed to any third party except by such process, order, or subpoena authorized by national, state, or
local law.
