What if I have Windows? Can I still install iTunes?
Yes. Apple has a Windows 2000/XP/Vista version of
iTunes available for free which you can download from their website at

Is Ross on iTunes U part of the iTunes Music Store?
No, however Apple will be changing this soon. The tracks offered in Ross on iTunes U are kept apart from the content on the main iTunes Music Store currently. Thus, you will not be able to access Ross on iTunes U directly without launching iTunes through the My iMpact portal or this Public Launch Page. Soon Apple will be integrating it's iTunes U into the rest of the iTunes music store and our content will be accessible from both locations.

Is there something wrong?
iTunes must be on the Ross on iTunes U page within iTunes to search for content relevant to the Ross School of Business. Otherwise all searches currently from the iTunes main Music Store will not return any results for content relevant to the Ross School of Business, this may or may not change once Apple has included our page within the iTunes Music Store.
Can I access Ross on iTunes U
directly
without first opening a browser?
No, not currently, this also may change with the inclusion of our site within the iTunes Music Store. Since this is a special section for Ross currently, there are no direct links off of the main iTunes Music Store. You must launch Ross on iTunes U from this launch page or once you have logged into My iMpact to access private iTunes U content.

can see other people's playlist in my iTunes.
Did someone hack into my computer?
No, there is no reason to be concerned. iTunes features the ability to stream other people's music from their playlists featured under the folder "Shared". This feature will allow you to listen to other people's music that have shared their playlists however you may not, transfer or copy these files to your computer.
Can I connect my iPod to other
people's computers
and download their music?
No, this is not available or possible with iTunes or an Apple iPod. Your iPod can only synch with one music library at a time. So unless you would like to completely reformat your iPod to synch to another computer, it cannot be done.
Will I be able to use other mp3 players with iTunes?
Yes and no. There is moderate support in iTunes for some 3rd Party players, but they will not be able to play AAC files (including songs from the iTunes Music Store. Apple offers a full line of iPod products and accessories which will give you the best digital experience.
