Free Hands-on Workshops

We offer several workshops that cover a number of intermediate to advanced skills in popular Microsoft Office applications. Get the help you need for your presentations and reports, or get a bit more knowledge to help enhance your resume. After all, these workshops are free!

We know how busy all our students are.  But we also know how invaluable it is to have the software skills needed to succeed at Ross and in the future..  A selection of Office 2007 workshops can be found on the DiscoverIT page.

Teamwork Tools and Resources created for you at Ross!

From class work to the MAP program, our emphasis on Action Based Learning means lots of teamwork. We are constantly working to take the challenge out of working collaboratively.

	Live Meeting with secure IM With Office Communicator 2007, you can do more than IM.  Share files, brainstorm with whiteboards and conduct audio/video conferences with VoIP technology.  Live Meeting works directly with Microsoft Office to make scheduling your meeting a breeze!  Visit the DiscoverIT page in My iMpact to learn more.
	My Site My site uses SharePoint technology.  Share files from you personal site, or create a team site. Learn more and watch a tutorial video from the DiscoverIT page in My iMpact.  Then login and start collaborating!
	Group Rooms with Plasma Screens Our group study rooms are equiped with plasma monitors so you can preview and practice your presentations.
	Equipment Loans and Room Reservations Most students know they can reserve a group study room online.  But did you know you can now reserve equipment online?  Borrow a digital video camera, projector, conference phone or more.  Simply go to the Equipment Reservation System.

MBAs - your mail resides on an Exchange Server

In connection with Outlook or Entourage, an Exchange Server allows you to work closely with your teammates.  Share contacts and view availability to schedule meetings.  Learn how to connect to the server and how to use Outlook from the DiscoverIT page in My iMpact .
