FULL support includes installation, HelpDesk support, troubleshooting problems and future upgrades, and Software Support usage assistance. This support is associated with software products that are considered a standard part of the business school computing environment.
 
BEST EFFORT support includes installation and basic troubleshooting only. Automatic upgrades may or may not be provided depending on the nature of the software license. The HelpDesk will attempt to resolve issues that are reported, but success is not guaranteed and the user may be directed to the manufacturer for support. This support is associated with software products that are deemed necessary for teaching, research or university purposes, but whose operational behavior is outside the scope of Computing Services.
 
INSTALLATION support covers installation and troubleshooting of the software.  No assistance is offered on the use of the product.
 
NONE is assigned to very specialized or infrequently used software products. This category of support includes a best efforts attempt to install the software product.

• Some software must be funded by the department or individual and an approximate cost is provided. If a cost is listed, a license to use the software product must be purchased by the requestor.  A department account number must be provided by the requestor to order this product.
