How can I make my resume available to
potential recruiters?
A
Resume Builder is available on
line. This tool uses information from your
My iMpact profile to generate a
resume that is posted for recruiters. Complete the information
in your My iMpact profile,
then click on My Resume on the side menu, or choose Resume Setup
from the
Student Career Services website.
Where can I find lists of job opportunities?
The
Student Career Services website
offers a list of job opportunities.
My iMpact
features a special tab called Career with Job Postings and
other career and recruiting information.

Can I get help with interviewing and job
search strategies?
Student Career Services has many
resources available to help you with your career search, including
help with interviewing, job searches and career assessments.
Visit the
Student Career Services website to
see their services and schedule a counseling appointment.
When scheduling career counseling
services, please keep in mind that if you are unable to keep your
appointment, you must cancel by noon one business day before your
appointment. You can cancel on line or by contacting the
Career Center via
email or phone (734-764-1373).
Missed appointments that are not canceled within this timeframe are
counted as "No-Shows" - you will be unable to schedule further
appointments after two "No-Shows" are accumulated.
Use Kresge Library resources such as
CareerSearch, WetFeet.com, Vault, Hoover's, Factiva and others to
kickstart or augment your job search. Useful for off-campus job
searches. Visit the
Kresge Library website for a
schedule of job search seminars.
How can I find out about companies coming to the Business School?
The Office of Career Development has links to help you find out about
Student Events as well as Corporate Meet and Greet opportunities at Ross on their
OCD Events page.
Where can I go to learn more about using typical business software
applications?
ITCS offers workshops on many different
software applications to members of the University community.
Visit their

Ross Computing Services offers free
software workshops each semester covering different techniques in
Microsoft Office applications.
Learn how to create professional
research papers, exceptional charts and graphs, and presentations
