The iMpact database contains contact information for faculty, staff and students at the Ross School of Business.  You can access individual profiles, or use the Student Directory to send messages to groups of students.  Please note that you cannot send attachments through the Student Directory. 

If you need to use html formatting or send attachments, download a vCard by clicking the Download button at the top of the profile page for each group member.
 

My iMpact features a Classified Ads panel that can be added to your own custom My iMpact web portal to view what ads are currently in place.  To post an ad of your own, login to the Classified Ads page.  The Monroe Street Journal also offers a Classified Ads section.
 

TheMSJ.com is the online edition of The Monroe Street Journal, the official newspaper of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.  The Monroe Street Journal is published weekly by students at Michigan Business School.

TheMSJ.com features Classified Ads as well as an Events Calendar.
 

Posters are a critical media for advertising news and events. Ross has introduced new plasma monitors to display posters digitally. These same posters will be viewable on iMpact. Due to the new media, there are very specific instructions one how poster files are to be submitted:

• Ensure that your design page setup is the proper 8.5 W x 14 H.

• Do not use a landscape orientation.

• Convert your native file to either a .pdf or .jpg – only these file formats will be accepted for input to the displays. Do not submit files in any other format.

• Choose images that are appropriate in resolution and won’t pixilate. You can size a large image down but you can’t enlarge a small image.

• Use large type for readability – small type is nearly impossible to read. If you have information that you feel is critical, use a URL on the display and put the information on a webpage.

• Do not use an all white background or even a “mostly” white background....at a minimum use a light color or a tint of a color. White is reserved for Emergency Communication!

You can create your own personal website using the University server.  Be certain to review the policies on Responsible Use of University resources.  Visit ITCS to learn how to set up your website space.

Many Student Clubs already have webpages and webboards set up.  To request a webpage or webboard for your Student Club, apply through the Office of Student Life.
