Live Communication Server |
|
 |
Instant Messaging, commonly referred to as ‘IM’, is
a real-time collaboration tool that can include text chat,
whiteboard, file transfer, application sharing, voice and video. IM
enables you to have real-time conversations with one or more
individuals.
The IM client used with our Live Communication Server (LCS)
is MS Office Communicator 2005. Use Communication to not only chat, but
instantly share documents, work together within an application and
brainstorm with a shared whiteboard. With Communicator, you no longer
have to schedule a meeting or wait for a return email.
Using this IM program will makes it a snap for students
to work remotely with team members.
Learn more at our
LCS page.
