following units to carry out our goals: Helpdesk
The
HelpDesk provides front-line support for all standard
Business School computer
hardware and software for the Business School, including:

Software Support Services
The Software Support Services
group provides support to faculty and staff for:
- creation of documents to support teaching needs
- multimedia support services
- support of standard software applications
- training on business software applications
- facilitates monthly MS Office Users Group

- IT orientation for beginning MBS students
- graphic design services (posters, flyers,
invitations, brochures, etc.)

Classroom Support Services
The Classroom Support team supports
our student labs, instructional lab, classrooms and provides

Desktop Applications
The Desktop Application team
develops installation and distribution procedures for all operating
systems and software applications, including course specific software.

Network Services
The Network Systems group is responsible for the design and
maintenance of networked services, which include the physical
network infrastructure of hubs/routers/switches, campus internet
connections, Internet2 access, video services, the wireless network,
IP address and DNS allocation/registration, network accounts,
network security, email, network and remote file space, network
printing, web servers, Oracle database servers, and other
miscellaneous services. The Network Systems group monitors and
supports all systems 24x7.
Web Development
The Web Development Unit provides
the Business School with customized software/web development and
support services that include: web sites, web interfaces to our
enterprise Oracle database, and full-scale applications development.
This group is the primary contact for web and information systems
development for the School community and for Oracle database

Administrative Support
The Administrative Support team
greets callers and visitors and handles all types of inquiries and
requests for assistance. This team purchases computing
equipment and supplies for the School, as well as maintains an
inventory of paper and computer consumables for distribution to the
School as needed. This group also establishes network and
email accounts for all faculty and staff and assists students with
