A: CS Stands for Career Services
consisting of Career Consulting & Education and Recruiting & Outreach and
resides in E2420, the hallway between Kresge and Executive Residence Buildings
on the second floor. The office is open
from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
Q: How do I contact CS with a
question?
A: The best way to contact CS is
through email. For Career Consulting, general student inquiries should be directed to RossCareerCounseling@umich.edu.

Q: What is the difference between
the "Recruiting and Outreach" and "Career Consulting & Education"?
A: CS has two main functions:
student career education and managing on-campus career opportunities. Career
Consulting handles general student inquiries about the recruiting process as
well as provide workshops and counseling services. The Recruiting and Outreach
Team manages on-campus recruiter events, job
postings, and interviewing as well as conducts outreach efforts to target new
companies for student interaction on-campus and/or a closer connection to
off-campus opportunities..
