TOD DELANEY, President, First Environment, Inc.
Dr. Delaney provides strategic direction and management oversight at First
Environment, an environmental engineering and consulting firm that delivers
environmental management system, greenhouse gas management and corporate
sustainability services. Dr. Delaney is also a chemical and environmental health
engineer with over 30 years of industry experience and a Certified Principal
Environmental Auditor accredited by England’s Institute of Environmental
Management and Assessment (IEMA). Over the course of his career, he has worked
for and consulted to hundreds of clients in the energy, chemical, manufacturing
and services sectors as well as numerous public entities.
Most recently, with regards to the International Organization for
Standardization’s 14064 standard for climate change, Dr. Delaney is the
coordinator for the international expert team focusing on entity greenhouse gas
emissions measurement and reporting as well as serves as a technical expert for
the U.S. team regarding project GHG measurement and reporting. Dr. Delaney is
also chairman of the board for the Business Council for Sustainable Energy.
