The Academy of Management (AOM), an international association of scholars
dedicated to creating and disseminating knowledge about management and organizations, has more than 17,000
members worldwide. More than 6,000 scholars and practitioners attend the annual meeting each August.
Each year since the debut of POS-related sessions in 2002, Center for POS faculty present research, conduct
professional development workshops, and host a Gathering of POS Scholars, during which scholars review
accomplishments of the previous year and then break into groups of individuals with common research
interests to foster networking and the building of research collaborations. Please also see
