Students evaluated profitability, environmental integrity and social equity of business plans from entrepreneurs seeking venture capital.
The third annual SVCIC was held at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School March 28-29, 2008. The Ross team consisted of Erb '09 student Nina Henning, and 4 graduating MBA students, Jen Anderson, Erin Cready, Andy Davis and Vik Vaishya. The team selected to invest in EnviRelation, a company that offers an innovative food composting service to the hospitality industry in the DC Metro area, providing a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional waste disposal.
