Color Chart
The primary palette consists of two colors, maize and blue. These colors
may be used extensively both for large areas of color or as an accent
color.
The colors of the secondary palette have been selected to compliment
the primary colors. They were chosen to work well as accent colors, a
suble background behind typography or other graphics, or in other situations
where a restrained use of color is desired. Darker colors may be used
for reverses.
The school's colors are based on the Pantone Matching System (PMS). Pantone
colors are provided for coated and uncoated paper. Also provided are four-color
process ink formulas (CMYK), color digital display values (RGB) and hexidecimal
values for the web.

Brand Mark on Color Backgrounds
The school's brand mark can be presented on color backgrounds
other than white. Use the examples below as guides for color breaks within
the brand mark and suggested background colors.
- When the background is the school blue - PMS 654 C/PMS 655 U - the
"M" appears blue
within a gold box - PMS 131 C/PMS 124 U (example A).
- On other backgrounds, the "M" is always gold within a blue
box
(examples B, C, D).
- The brand mark also may appear as a reverse (example E)
- When selecting background colors, no elements of the brand mark should
be obscured or made illegible by the background.
- Use of the brand mark on red and orange (PMS 139 C, PMS 167 C, PMS
1805 C) should be avoided.
Note: Although only the flush-left version of the brand mark is
shown below, this information applies to all formats of the brand mark.
