WDI: Leadership Training For Rwanda Ministers
The first of three William Davidson Institute training programs for senior ministry officials from the Government of Rwanda began Sept. 4.
The program, which runs through Sept. 15, will be on leadership and executive skills and will be taught by Dr. Rob Pasick.
The training is part of Institute's engagement with the Rwanda government, which also includes providing capacity building for the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) in Kigali over the next five years.
The training will involve 100 top government officials. Other training, to take place later, will cover strategy and marketing, and financial management and budgeting. The program also involves a "train-the-trainers" component so that the program will be handed off to SFB faculty so they can continue to train additional government officials.
