Reconnect, Relive and Remember at the 2006 Reunion
All alumni are invited to attend and celebrate Michigan memories.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The 2006 Stephen M. Ross School of Business Alumni Reunion will take place on campus on Oct. 27-28.
All graduates are encouraged to attend. The classes of 1956, 1966, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1996 and 2001 will participate in special anniversary celebrations.
Events on Oct. 27 include an alumni-student career lunch and a business lecture with Q&A featuring Richard S. Tedlow, the Class of 1949 Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
Tedlow is a specialist in the history of business and the author of numerous books, including "The Watson Dynasty: The Fiery Reign and Troubled Legacy of IBM's Founding Father and Son," "Giants of Enterprise: Seven Business Innovators and the Empires They Built" and the forthcoming "Andy Grove: The Life and Times of an American," on which his talk will be based.
"I have had the good fortune of working with Richard Tedlow for many years and seeing him in action," said Dean Robert J. Dolan. "I can promise you this is an event not to be missed. The Grove story of innovation and management excellence is a great one, and Tedlow's skills are the perfect match for it."
Alumni can relive the Michigan spirit at a tailgate party and homecoming football game with Northwestern University on Oct. 28. Football tickets can be purchased through reunion registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration for the reunion is required. Register online or by returning the registration form included in the printed reunion invitation that was mailed to graduates from the anniversary classes.
Blocks of rooms at area hotels have been set aside for Ross alumni for reunion weekend. Alumni planning to attend the reunion should make reservations soon. Northwest Airlines also is offering discounted airfare that weekend through Boersma Travel, and free taxi service will be provided for travel within the city.
