Dividend Goes Digital
Dividend, the Ross School alumni magazine, is now an online collection.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The Office of Marketing Communications and the Kresge Business Administration Library at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business are pleased to announce that all issues of the Dividend alumni magazine are now available online at
The Dividend Historical Issues collection contains Dividend from 1969 to the present.
Dividend is published twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. For more than three decades, Dividend has strived to extend the value of a Ross School education by informing readers of business trends, faculty research, school initiatives and alumni activities.
Each issue of Dividend includes news and feature articles about faculty research and Ross School students, alumni profiles, news about alumni club activities and class notes.
Dividend historical issues are online in downloadable PDF files. Adobe Reader is required to view these files. Pages were scanned by the Digital Library Production Service at the University of Michigan. The files were assigned metadata (keywords and other file information that facilitates indexing and searching) and added to the Kresge collection.
Readers soon will be able to search Dividend in the Kresge Library catalog. Full text searching of Dividend will be available in Deep Blue, the University of Michigan's electronic research depository, this fall.
"I would like to thank the Kresge Library staff, especially Todd Elkins in systems and Jennifer Zimmer in digital services, and Tony Lin from the School of Information for their work on the Dividend Historical Issues collection," says Dividend Executive Editor Mary Jo Frank. "In addition to preserving Ross School history, the online collection allows alumni to easily access back issues when planning reunions and other activities."
