CVP Publishes New "Growth Capital Journal"
Electronic newsletter provides latest in venture capital and private equity investment patterns.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The Center for Venture Capital and Private Equity Finance (CVP) at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan recently launched the Growth Capital Journal—a quarterly e-newsletter focused on venture capital and private equity investment patterns and their links to entrepreneurship, innovation and business building.
The center's director, David Brophy, says the journal's name reflects its tie to the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, CVP's signature program, now in its 24th year of supporting entrepreneurial innovation and financing.
The first edition was e-mailed in late February to more than 33,000 information technology and business decision-makers across the nation. The newsletter is targeted to past and future attendees of the symposium and provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among professional investors and entrepreneurs.
CVP oversees the finance and investment component of entrepreneurial studies at the Ross School and contributes to the full spectrum of entrepreneurial education and programs administered through the school's Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
