General Mills CEO Will Speak Nov. 17 at the Ross School of Business
Stephen Sanger, MBA '70, to talk about the importance of innovation.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. General Mills CEO Stephen Sanger will speak at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Sanger's presentation, "Innovation at General Mills: Trix of the Trade," the second in the Dean's Speaker Series, will be in Hale Auditorium, followed by a reception in the Ford Conference Center lobby. Sanger will explain how General Mills identifies and meets the continuous challenge to innovate, which drives its success as one of the world's leading consumer food companies.
Sanger has served in a variety of positions at General Mills, including as president of the Big G Cereal Division and of Yoplait USA. He is a director of the Target Corp. and Wells Fargo, a current board member and past-chairman of the Grocery Manufacturers of America, and a member of the Business Council and Business Roundtable. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan in 1970.
