Michigan Business School's Annual Asian Business Conference Will Take Place Feb. 6-7

DATE: 4-7 p.m. Feb. 6 and 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Feb. 7
EVENT: The University of Michigan Business School's 14th annual Asian Business Conference, "Asia: Miracle Maker or Heartbreaker?" will explore the potential for success and challenging business conditions in the Asian business market. Keynote speakers include: Ong Keng Yong, secretary-general of the Association of South East Asian Nations; Kishore Mahbubani, Singapore ambassador to the United Nations; and B. Ramalinga Raju, CEO of Satyam Computer Services Ltd.
PLACE: Hale Auditorium, located in the Business School's Assembly Hall on the corner of Hill and Tappan streets.
BACKGROUND: Leaders from business and academia will participate in multiple panel discussions. Topics include: corporate and social responsibility, health care, finance, and technology, as well as sessions on Japan, Southeast Asia, India, Korea and China.
