Michigan Business School's Annual FuturTech Conference Will Be Held Jan. 15-16
ANN ARBOR, Mich.---The University of Michigan Business School's sixth annual FuturTech Conference, "Pervasive Technology and the Advantages of the Informed", will be held 5:45-7 p.m. Jan. 15 and 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in Hale Auditorium, located in the Business School's Assembly Hall.
Michael Eskew, chairman and CEO of United Parcel Service, and Larry Lesley, senior vice president of Consumer Imaging & Printing at Hewlett-Packard Corp., will be keynote speakers at the conference that will focus on the impact of new technologies on business and consumers.
Leaders from business and academia will participate in eight panel discussions. Topics include: integrated advertising strategies for the digital age; the state of network security; information technology and commoditization; intellectual property and digital assets; investing in new technologies to increase operational efficiency; using business intelligence to drive decision-making; future trends in "smart" business environments; and technology and quality of patient care.
