Lessons from Lehman

2/3/2011 --

Lehman Brothers Holdings CEO Bryan Marsal delivers inside view of financial crisis Feb. 10.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — On Thursday, Feb. 10, Ross alumnus Bryan Marsal, BBA '73/MBA '75, will deliver "Lessons from Lehman" in Blau Auditorium. The event begins at 5 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

As CEO of Lehman Brothers Holdings, Marsal brings unique perspective on the financial crisis and its ongoing impact. He has been liquidating assets for the firm since its collapse in September 2008.

"Bryan is overseeing the largest bankruptcy in history," says Dean Robert Dolan. "We are very fortunate to have this presentation from one of our most influential alumni."

Marsal is co-founder and co-CEO of Alvarez & Marsal, a New York-based global professional services firm that has delivered business advisory and management services to distressed and under-performing companies for nearly three decades. He's led a variety of high-level assignments and his views are regularly sought by Washington regulators.
