Year-end Gifts Fuel Business School Development

12/16/2003 --

ANN ARBOR, Mich.---The Michigan Business School recently re-launched its Annual Fund Web site to provide alumni and friends with easy access to information and online giving capabilities. The site,, contains information regarding the Henry Carter Adams recognition society, matching gift companies, reunion gifts and a variety of other frequently asked questions.

John Copeland, the school's director of annual giving, says the majority of annual gifts from alumni and friends are received prior to the calendar year-end and provide the school with key resources for innovation in research and teaching. Additionally, these funds provide Dean Robert J. Dolan with the capital to maintain and grow several of the school's strategic programs and initiatives.

"Over the last year annual alumni support provided funds for faculty research, scholarship and internship support, action-based learning programs and alumni program development," Copeland says. "The school's ability to lead in thought and action depends in large part on the willingness of our alumni and friends to continue their financial investment in the Michigan Business School."
